Ive been watching this new TV programme called South Pacific. It is a great show about the Pacific Ocean (did you know the Pacific Ocean takes up almost one third of the world??) and the inhabitants that live around or in it. It has great shots of the fish and things underwater and awesome views of volcanoes, islands and the vast empty ocean. It is absolutley amazing and I am awestruck whenever I watch it.
It is on every sunday (at 5pm on channel one if anyone wants to watch it) and since watching last nights episode, I have been thinking how insignificant out little island of a country is in comparison to the huge blue ocean we are surrounded with. Just try to imagine how little we as people are compared to New Zealand, NZ compared to the Pacific ocean, the ocean compared to the earth, the earth compared to the sun and so forth.
Just a thought :)
