Hmm, My favourite thing to do...

Job-hunting... NOT!!
Ever since I finished uni almost a month ago, I have been searching for a job. I wanted a cooler job than my previous jobs: McDonalds (been there, done that) and babysitting, so I was looking through Seek and Student Job Search because they seem to have the better-ish jobs than the usual fast food restaurants. I had applyed for many and many jobs and were interested in some of them but unfortunatly did not end up the best candidate for any of them.

I guess the point of this post, apart from stating how annoying job-hunting is, is to inform you all that I GOT A JOB!! :D
I now am employed by New Zealand post for a month, starting in a week. I look forward to earning some money; and considering this job has quite good pay, I should be getting quite a bit of it (hopefully).

I've noticed (Im sure many of you have too) the lack of blog posts on my blog, Its just that I have nothing to write!! so I've starting writting about anything thats happening with me atm. Hope I don't bore you to death ;)

How little we actually are..

Ive been watching this new TV programme called South Pacific. It is a great show about the Pacific Ocean (did you know the Pacific Ocean takes up almost one third of the world??) and the inhabitants that live around or in it. It has great shots of the fish and things underwater and awesome views of volcanoes, islands and the vast empty ocean. It is absolutley amazing and I am awestruck whenever I watch it.

It is on every sunday (at 5pm on channel one if anyone wants to watch it) and since watching last nights episode, I have been thinking how insignificant out little island of a country is in comparison to the huge blue ocean we are surrounded with. Just try to imagine how little we as people are compared to New Zealand, NZ compared to the Pacific ocean, the ocean compared to the earth, the earth compared to the sun and so forth.

Just a thought :)
